(fx)hash
I’m put some generative art on (fx)hash. The older ones were made using Clojure (Snowfall, Froth, Barista and ASB C) and all the others in Common Lisp.
Genuary 2022
Genuary is a yearly coding event mostly happening on
Twitter (for now) using the #genuary
hashtag where people make a piece of
generative art every day (or as often as they feel like).
Below are my submissions for 2022.
2022-01:01: 10000 of Something
For #Genuary2022 I vowed to not spend more than an hour on each prompt. This took me two and a half hours 😬, because rotations and HTML canvas (and getting a decent screenshot).
2022-01-02: Dithering
Posting an older piece (2013?) since what I had planned to make today wasn’t actually dithering. (I figured after reading the Wikipedia page on it.)
This was made for a Victory Boogie Woogie contest in The Netherlands.
2022-01-03: Space
This one took me way longer than I intended. 4 hours or so? And I got 25% done of what I intended to do.
On the positive side, I discovered some nice shapes and patterns while working on this.
2022-01-05: Destroy a Square
cannot find the tweet for this one
2022-01-07: Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing
Not much original thought here. I codified Sol LeWitt’s rules (how very Sol LeWitt!) for Wall drawing #869 with one minor tweak: the color of the new line could not be exactly the same as the previous line.
2022-01-08: Single Curve Only
Some froth, some milk, a single curve.
